As I walked upon my steps to my journey at the Asian SM(168 Super Market) yesterday to buy foods(food supply), I saw this Red Sunjo Pear(as they named it--don't know if it's an Asian name{I guess it is})--and I call it as Red Pear because I saw a green one like this so I thought to make a difference, I just called it in two words as I said lately(Red Pear). It is somewhat like a "makopa" fruit in Philippines(my country home), the only difference of it's image is it's just bigger(haven't taste it yet). This fruit is new to me and what I did is I bought one. Actually, I didn't intend to bought one until I saw it and after I got home from preparing food for dinner as well as putting the bought stuffs on the ref and stash where else to put, I grab my camera and here it is(click images to enlarge):

Hey, hubby laughed at me watching last night taking a pic of this (lol). Ohhh yeah, it seems funny to me after a little conversation after taking it. I explained to him why and still seems little funny. Am serious but deep insi de ohh yeah it seems funny because he's thinking that I will it eat, yet just took a pic. heheh.. Anyway, I will eat this later because I just ate mango so to avoid fruit rambling inside my stomache(except fruit salad), I thought of eating it one at a time. hemmm.. would you want some?

Thank you for the comment Rolly. I was there at your all blogs but I haven't found my name/blog name on your blog roll--perhaps I just really didn't see it. Anyway, thanks if ever. And yeah it's same as "makopa" --I don't really know if that fruit is just the same they just varied in shape..

To Lulu, yeah it's a pear but the question is, is it the makopa in our dialect? heheh.. --i don't really know.. perhaps.. heheh.. until now I haven't taste it.. later. Anyway, thanks Lu of your sweet thought. muahhh!

And to Amiable Amy, Happy2x Birthday sweetie. You deserve a sweet pear or "makopa", save my last slice of cake huh? ... heheh.. muahhh!

Hello Beck. Thanks for the visit and for the comments. I think also that's a red pear because I saw one either trader joes or ralphs but I am not 100% sure. It looks yummy. If I were you hide it or else I will eat it with a little bit of salt. Take care my friend and enjoy your day. Sorry for not visiting your blog yesterday. I was very busy at work and don't have time to blog last night cause I was off at almost 11 pm and I worked today at 7 am. Very long day and my feet are hurting for standing of more than 10 hours. Ingat there and god bless you.

cai, i don't think that is makopa in our own language... kasi ang makopa parang tambis yon... kasi if you open that fruit yong seeds ng makopa iba kaysa sa dyan.... i think you need to it that fruit na para mahibaw-an nimo heheh

hehehe.. yep, Nanay Belen it's shape is a pear and Lulu said it's really a pear and it's not makopa. Anyway, am wondering also if what's the english term for "makopa".. heheh.. So then, thanks for being here Nanay.. and thanks to Lulu for concluding that it's not really "makopa" through it's seed and appearance outside. And to me, haven't taste it yet and seen. I will really open it later--am curious but that doesn't mean I don't believe Lulu huh? Thanks everyone who commented now, I have some answers. ty!

HI everyone, am back of this post. I wanted to post it in another but it's better it in here.. So, I just open the red sunjo pear last night and it is not a "makopa" fruit taste.. hehehe.. so indeed it's really a pear--it's just the color varies. I saw it on my own eyes and taste it! Thanks all for the comments. muahhh!
