Many dogs suffer from digestive problems and surprisingly many of these problems are caused by dog foods. Most dog foods contain artificial colors, flavors and preservatives and dairy and wheat to preserve shelf life and to make cheap foods more palatable. However many dogs cannot digest dairy and wheat effectively which can cause discomfort, diarrhea and even skin irritations. In these cases hypoallergenic dog foods should be fed, which are specifically designed to contain only natural ingredients and no dairy or wheat. It is always important to carefully check the food labels to ensure you are fully aware of the ingredients within the food that your dog is being fed.

The common symptoms of a food allergy can include; diarrhea, constipation, bloated stomach, hair loss, excessive scratching and red patches on the skin.

To diagnose a food allergy a food allergy test has to be conducted. This will involve feeding a complete bland food such as canine i/d for four to twelve weeks whilst the symptoms your dog displays are monitored. During the test it is vital that no other food is eaten by your dog as this will void the trial. It is important to note that you should seek veterinary advice before conducting any kind of food trial as there may be an underlying health issue that needs to be diagnosed. Also the canine i/d diet is prescription only so should be prescribed by your vet first before use.

Liquid Paraffin may also be recommended by your vet as a treatment for constipation, however regular use is dangerous as it can cause a range of disorders by preventing the absorption of fat soluble vitamins, create foreign-body granuloma (the body’s response to foreign material within the tissue) and can even lead to lipoid pneumonia (pneumonia caused by lipids entering the bronchial tree). Therefore always seek veterinary advice before using this product and advice on the duration of treatment.

Pro-Kolin is great for the treatment of diarrhea. It contains natural binding ingredients which coat the lining of the gut to calm and improve the consistency of stools. It also contains prebiotics which encourages the growth of good microorganisms important for digestion.

In most communities, we can find parks, children’s playgrounds and even dog parks. These amenities allow members of the community, both young and old, a chance to enjoy various outdoor activities. Activities such as picnics, festivals and outdoor musical presentations allow them to get to know each other and develop friendships along the way. This will contribute greatly to a harmonious and peaceful community in general.

To make these outdoor amenities more inviting and conducive to regular outdoor activities, proper furnishings or furniture should be provided. Aluminum Bleachers are the common choice when it comes to both outdoor and indoor bleachers because they are durable, lightweight, portable and can withstand the damage caused by the weather. They also come in different styles that can complement the overall look of the area where they will be placed. These bleachers are ideal for auditoriums and ample sized parks where friendly sports matches can be held.

The increase in the number of pet owners, particularly dog owners, has contributed in the emergence of dog parks in residential communities. Pet Waste Stations are essential elements of dog parks. These will help maintain the cleanliness throughout the park. Pet owners will be more comfortable about allowing their pets use the dog exercise equipment if everyone is aware of their responsibilities as responsible dog owners.
With outdoor amenities such as those mentioned, enjoying a great day with family members, friends, neighbors and even pets will be something that everyone will look forward to.

I remember while I was in college that my uncle sends me always to an emporium just to get his pet supplies. He has a cute healthy furry doggie called "pachuchay" from the soap opera leading actress Judy Ann Santos. He has also fishes in a rectangle aquarium, and a bird. Having pets is cool and an entertaining to our eyes, companion, and some(dog) became one's best friend already. And an owner shows pity of it when don't have enough stuff for it's needs especially if such one is very far to get on. With that, online store nowadays is a big help especially when it's emergency.

Introducing my youngest sister as well as the youngest sibling of mine on my father side and her pet chiqui - the rabbit. Lovely is what our family call her that turn to became her nickname. She loves pet very much and every time my father handed a pet to her she's very happy and she's the one taking good care of it. From bathing up to feeding, she's in it when talking about pets. I remember she has 2 white mice before and it's so very cute and entertaining, she takes good care of them very much. And she cried when something happens especially when it died as if a part of her life just like a family. She has also birds and some before but now only dogs and rabbit. She's really a very pet-lover person. Actually they have 3 dogs in the house and 2 rabbits. She likes to take good care of them not to mention my other siblings also likes such but not me, am so opposite when it comes to dogs and taking good care especially they're having they're pooh-pooh ahhh.. not my type but am good taking good care of person as well as she is. Actually she's taking up midwifery as of now and this coming October she will graduate and hopefully will take up nursing by next year. Am proud of her because she's one of my best when it's about money matters and handling conversation to family circle, that's why she's my right hand now when it comes to my father side. She dances very well too. I also like my other siblings but because my other sister next to me is already here in Tennessee, then she's the only girl in there and the one who handles the communication thing and very articulate about it that's why. By the way, you might wonder who's the other two in pics, the guy is my younger brother (older than her) and the kiddo is my niece(child of my younger sis - next from me) who is also my god daughter - that pic was taken at the house in Gingoog before my other younger sis came here. Anyway, that's all about it for now. To continue about pets, I guess being with them in the house and taking good care such is much about being used to it while you're still young. As to my experience, I just like to look and watch them but not to take good care and some. I haven't remember that I have one ever since, one time after I graduate in college, my aunt got a dog and I don't like it - even how hard I tried but I can't force myself to have one. I don't know.. even cat I don't! Maybe in the future.. hope so.. I tackle also about this because I understand that pets are useful too especially dogs - they can be our companion and guardian as to savior sometimes. Hubby wants to have cat in the house but I don't, well I guess he just discuss it to me since I can see he don't want too. heheheh.. Well, yeah maybe in the future. Am not closing my mind about that but not for now. Again, I don't have hate on pets but I just don't like it, just only to look and watch them am in it. heheheh.. Am impressed though to the peepz who has patience and attitude towards animals pertaining to this and that. Well then, happy having a pet folks! Kudos to all of you!
