This was my question days ago already until lately. I have in mind that ham could be stored longer but I was a bit skeptical since my husband said that it should have to be threw away because it is not good anymore. And now the fully cooked smoked boneless ham I baked on the Christmas eve is still here in my refrigerator. I don't want to throw it away because I believe foods should not be treated that way. Ooh well, I kept on searching and finally I made up my mind to just throw it since yesterday I smelled and tasted a little bit "no good" anymore or I thought that it's just what my taste felt after eating it little by little all by myself (the two pounds boneless ham) because my husband don't like it even just a bit. He just don't like as what he told and I didn't want to force him. And so, I left ate that alone for how many days.. lol.. It was my first time of cooking it that's why and I just love its taste.

Okay, research showed (from Food Safety and Inspection Service of United States Department of Agriculture) that fully cooked unopened ham after purchase should be consumed within seven days. On the other hand, if it is opened, three days for ham slices and seven days for the whole ham. However, on or before that date, you can put it at the top most of the refrigerator(freezer) for as long as you want as long as it doesn't have a label on its package the "use-by" date before you gonna eat it or else the taste is not quality anymore. You can also determined through its odor and taste whatever the date is. Best put it in refrigerator not less than 45-60 minutes after opening and again, any food (unless for baby or infant) can be stored for longer period if put in freezer (icy area). So that's it, I better throw my ham later since it became monotonous to my taste already and stayed already more than seven days at the lower side of the refrigerator, and the third reason is the taste differs. I don't want to take a chance with it or else I would get sick because of it. Anyway, it's just somewhat like a half a pound only left so it's not that so "heart-breaking" to my part no more. :-) Goodbye my ham..

I was trying to learn more and I found some tips too...one tip is speaking not too fast, and not too soft. Since bisaya ta our tongue is kinda different from tagalog speakers. Mas dali cla mka cope up sa pronunciation. We need to observed the proper sound of consonant and vowels too bisan ako masayup ko usahay sa i ug e sound. hehe mag learn ta sis... ako sis am willing to accept corrections sad. labina ug sakto ang nag correct skoa.
